Har Lehza Hai Moomin Ki Nayee Shaan Nayee Aaan – Kalam Allama Iqbal
Har Lehza Hai Moomin Ki Nayee Shaan Nayee Aaan;
Guftar Mein Kirdaar Mein Allah Ki Burhaan.
Every Moment of a True Believer is a new grandeur;
By words and deeds he gives a proof Of Mighty God, His reach and power
Qahhari-o-Ghaffari-o-Quddusi-o-Jabrood;Har Lehza Hai Moomin Ki Nayee Shaan Nayee Aaan;
Guftar Mein Kirdaar Mein Allah Ki Burhaan.
Every Moment of a True Believer is a new grandeur;
By words and deeds he gives a proof Of Mighty God, His reach and power
Yeh Chaar Anasir Ho Tho Banta Hai Musalmaan.
Rout the foes, Grant them Reprieve, Do pious deeds & show great might;
Are the four characteristics that make A Perfect Muslim
Hamsaaya-e-Jibreel-e-Ameen Banda-e-Khaki;
Hai Iska Nasheman Na Bukhaara Na Badakhshaan.
This clay-born man has kinship close to Gabriel the trusted;
His dwelling place is neve r a land or clime.
Ye Raaz Kisiko Nahin Maalum Ke Moomin!
Qari Nazar Aata Hai; Haqeekat Mein Hai Qur’an.
The Believer’s Secret has not been known by anyone.
He looks like a Reciter; But in fact he himself is the Qur’an.
Qudrat Ke Maqasid Ka Ayyar, Iske Iraade;
Duniya Mein Bhi Mizaan, Qayamat Mein Bhi Mizaan.
The Nature’s aims and ends are his intentions;
He keeps Balance in this World also & keeps Balance in the Hereafter also.
Jis’se Jigar-e-Laala Mein Thandak Ho Wo Shabnam;
Daryawon Ke Dil Jis’se Dahel Jaaye Wo Toofaan.
With friends and mates, He is dew that cools the tulip;
With enemies he is like torrent strong which makes oceans shake.
Fitrat Ka Sarood-e-Azal Iske Shab-o-Roz;
Aahang Mein Ekta, Sifat-e-Sura-e-Rehmaan
His Days and Nights are Nature’s Sweet Song;
Like Chapter Rehman of Qur’an is his Melodious rhyming tune.
Bante Hain Meri Kargah-e-Fikr Mein Anjum;
Le Apne Muqaddar Ke Sitare Ko Tu Pehchaan.
Such thoughts that shine like lustrous stars are provided in my Brain
Recognize the star which will guide your Fate.
Na Tu Zameen Ke Liye Hai Na Aasmaan Ke Liye – Kalam Allama Iqbal
Na Tu Zameen Ke Liye Hai Na Aasmaan Ke LiyeJahaan Hai Tere Liye, Tu Nahin Jahan Ke Liye
You are not for the Earth, nor are you for the heavens
The whole universe is for you; you are not for the universe
Ye Akal-o-Dil Hai Sharar Shola-e-Mohabbat Ke
Wo Khaar-o-Khas Ke Liye Hai, Ye Nestaan Ke Liye
The mind and the heart Are sparks in the flame of love;
One for a moment’s world, The other for an everlasting world
Maqaam-e-Parwarish-e-Aah Wa Naala Hai Ye Chaman
Na Sair-e-Gul Ke Liye Hai Na Aashiyaan Ke Liye
This garden is for you to yearn, To seek a beautific vision.
Not for your delight and nor to build your adobe.
Rahega Raavi-o-Neel-o-Faraat Mein Kab Tak?
Tera Safeena Ke Hai Bahr-e-Bekaraan Ke Liye
Till when will you be in the Ravi, Nile and the Tigress?
Your Ship is for the Open Sea of Restlessness.
Nishaan-e-Raah Dikhaate The Jo Sitaron Ko
Taras Gaye Hain Kisi Mard-e-Raahdan Ke Liye
They were a beacon once To the brightest stars of heaven,
But now they languish in darkness, In search of a guide to lead them.
Nigah Buland, Sukhan Dilnawaaz, Jaan Pur Soz
Yahi Hai Rakht-e-Safar Meer-e-Kaarwaan Ke Liye
A lofty vision, Gracious speech, And a passionate soul
These are the attributes Of the leader of Caravan.
Zara Si Baat Thi Andesha-e-Ajam Ne Use
Badha Diya Hai Faqat Zaib-e-Daastaan Ke Liye
It was a small speech; But the because of Non-Arabs’ thought,
Made it big just for the sake of a Story
Mere Gulu Mein Hai Ek Nagma-e-Jibraeel Aashob
Sambhal Kar Jise Rakha Hai La Makaan Ke Liye
My soul has a secret song, A defiance to Gabriel
A song I have preserved For life in eternity.

Dayar-e-Ishq main – Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
The realm of Love – Dayar e Ishq.
This is otherwise Know as Kalam e Iqbal ie. The saying of Allama Iqbal. Allama Iqbal was a very famous poet of our time and infact the national poet of Pakistan, Nearly all of his quotes and sayings are compiled in the Bang-i-Dara. This kalam is one of great reality and inessence the corus sums it up.”Dayar e Ishq main upna maqam payda kar”,”In the realm of love, give birth to your own rank” and I would say That the beauty is certainly lost in translation, but needless to say I will try to translate the segments if I can.

LA ILAHA ILLALLAH – kalam-e-Iqbal by Shehzad Roy
Translation and TransliterationKhudi ka sirr-e-nihaaN La ilaha il Allah
khudi hai tegh-e-fasaaN La ilaha il Allah
The secret of the Self is hid, In words “No god but He alone”.
The Self is just a dull-edged sword, “No god but He,” the grinding stone.
Yeh daur apne ‘Braaheem ki talaash mein hai
Sanam-kadah hai jahaaN La ilaha il Allah
An Abraham by the age is sought To break the idols of this Hall:
The avowal of God’s Oneness can Make all these idols headlong fall.
Kiya hai tu ne mataa’-e-gharoor ka sauda
fareb-e-sood-o-ziyaaN ! La ilaha il Allah
A bargain you have struck for goods Of life, a step, that smacks conceit,
All save the Call “No god but He” Is merely fraught with fraud and deceit.
Yeh maal o dawlat-e-dunya, yeh ristha o paivand
butaan-e-vehm-o-gumaaN! La ilaha il Allah
The worldly wealth and riches too, Ties of blood and friends a dream
The idols wrought by doubts untrue, All save God’s Oneness empty seem.
Khird huwee hai zamaan o makaan ki zunaari
na hai zamaaN, na makaaN! La ilaha il Allah
The mind has worn the holy thread Of Time and Space like pagans all
Though Time and Space both illusive “No god but He” is true withal.
Yeh naghma fasl-e-gul o laaleh ka nahin paband
bahaar ho ke khizaaN, La ilaha il Allah
These melodious songs are not confined To Time when rose and tulip bloom
Whatever the season of year be “No god but He” must ring till doom.
Agarche but hain jama’at ki aasteenoN mein
mujhe hai hukm-e-azaaN, La ilaha il Allah
Many idols are still concealed’ In their sleeves by the Faithful Fold,
I am ordained by Mighty God To raise the call and be much bold.
Ya rab dil e Muslim ko woh -Kalam e Iqbal by Shehzad Roy
Ya Rab Dil-e-Muslim Ko Woh Zinda Tamanna Dey
Jo Qalb Ko Garma Dey Jo Rooh Ko Tadpa Dey
Phir Vadi-e-FaraN Ke ,Har Zarray Ko Chamka Dey
Phir Shok-e-Tamasha Dey Phir Zoq-e-Taqaza Dey
Is Daur Ki Zulmat Main Har Qalb-e-PareshaN Ko
Woh Daag-e-Mohabbat Dey Jo Chaand Ko Sharma Dey
Mehroom-e-Tamasha Ko Phir Deeda-e-Beena Dey
Dekha Hai Jo Kuch Main nay Aoron Ko Bhi Dikhla Dey

Translation
O Lord! To the Muslims heart grant that live Longing
Which may warm the heart, which may restlessness to the soul grant
Again brighten up every speck of dust of the Valley of Faran
Again Longing for the Spectacle, taste for the asking grant
Again to the one deprived of the Spectacle the discerning eye grant
Whatever I have seen, to others also its sight grant
Again guide the strayed away deer towards the Haram
To the one addicted to city, vastness of wilderness grant
Again in the forlorn heart create the Last Days tumult
Again to this empty camel-litter the lover of Lailah grant
In the darkness of this age to every perturbed heart
That mark of Love which may embarrass the moon grant
In elegance raise the Muslims goals to the level of Thurayyah
Self-respect of the ocean, freedom of the sea shore grant
Love should be pure, candor fearless should be
Grant Light to hearts, hearts like crystal grant
Grant the feeling for signs of the calamity
In todays tumult concern for tomorrow grant
I am the wailing nightingale of a ruined rose garden
I am the supplicant for acceptance, O Benevolent one alms to the beggar grant
